What Jagex announced for the price
On September 2, 2026, Jagex said the 1.0 release would not raise the standard game’s price: the announced figures were £24.99 and $29.99. The US Steam listing also showed $29.99 when checked on September 22. Those figures are historical, region-specific reference points, not a live checkout quote. Taxes, discounts, currency conversion and editions may change what you see.
The 1.0 news release describes Digital Standard and Deluxe editions on several platforms and a Digital Standard edition for Nintendo Switch 2. Check the store page for the edition’s current contents rather than assuming the base-price figure applies to every bundle.
Subscription access at launch
Jagex’s launch release says Dragonwilds was available through Xbox Game Pass Premium, Ultimate and PC Game Pass, and through PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium on PlayStation 5. Membership names and catalogues can change after a press release. Before subscribing for this game, check the live Xbox or PlayStation listing in your region and confirm that your membership tier is eligible.
Buying a copy and playing through a subscription are different access arrangements. The official source does not say that a subscription purchase grants a transferable license on another store.
